Level 3 Biology

This year is an exciting and demanding academic year.  Students are expected to be diligent and committed, these characteristics are necessary to ensure that the content of the course is covered and understood. 

The Year 13 course covers a wide range of biological concepts.  A large proportion of the content though is based around genetics.  Students are expected to apply the concepts of genetics to the environment, humans and plants.

The Year 13 Biology year is demanding and will require application and dedication.  Students will be rewarded through a richer understanding of biology, as it evolves in our society today and the future.

Students are able to apply their biological knowledge in interesting practical and research based internal assessments.
